Support the Dr. Lawrence D. Shriberg Memorial Scholarship Fund

The ASHFoundation’s Dr. Lawrence D. Shriberg Memorial Scholarship Fund supports graduate students pursuing research in areas aligned with the work of the late Dr. Lawrence D. Shriberg, including speech sound disorders, childhood apraxia of speech, phonetic transcription, and genetic conditions affecting speech.

Created to honor the lasting legacy of his profound work, this special fund provides scholarships of $5,000, in accordance with the established guidelines of the ASHFoundation’s Graduate Student Scholarship program. The fund is aimed at supporting graduate students in communication sciences and disorders who are pursuing master’s or doctoral (research or clinical) degrees, and who are conducting, or approved to conduct, research (dissertation, thesis, or capstone project) that align with Dr. Shriberg's work, are collaborative and cross-disciplinary, and/or use novel data collections and classification systems.

The ASHFoundation and our generous supporters recognize and honor Dr. Shriberg’s rich legacy of support for graduate students and research. Please consider joining us by making a gift to the Dr. Lawrence D. Shriberg Memorial Scholarship Fund today.
